Note: This program does not ensure a permanent position once the learnership comes to an end but the valuable experience you’ll gain during your time at DHL will be useful for future jobs.


To qualify for a learnership, candidates must meet all of the following requirements.

You must:

  • have a valid ID book or card
  • have a Matric certificate
  • have a clean criminal record
  • have a diploma or degree within the relevant field of application
  • be computer literate
  • be presentable
  • be customer-focused and dedicated to good customer service
  • be able to meet set deadlines
  • be under the age of 30
  • possess leadership skills,
  • be analytical thinkers
  • be able to multi-task
  • be willing to sign a 12-month contract with the company
  • be able to work unsupervised as well as in a team

Note that those mentioned above are the basic requirements, there may be more added should you be called for an interview.
