Do you have what it takes to face the financial industry head-on and accelerate your career? The Old Mutual Graduate Accelerated Programme wants to help graduates and postgraduate students shape their career growth.

Old Mutual now operates in 14 countries across two regions: Africa (South Africa, Botswana, eSwatini, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe) and Asia (China) and employ more than 30 000 people from around the world.

Your time at Old Mutual

The 18 months of real work experience you’ll gain at the company will be made up of one-on-one sessions with your manager to rate your work performance at least twice a year; this will help them decide whether to make you a permanent employee.

You’ll receive valuable on-the-job training and gain valuable insider knowledge through product-based involvement. You will also have access to various short courses through the company’s Learning & Development Centre of Excellence.

Then, if that’s not enough, you might even have a chance to travel and have access to both national and international opportunities.

Get ready to take on a role that fits your unique career needs and prepare to meet different teams within the industry to build your contact list. You’ll also be assigned to a "buddy" who will help you navigate around the company while you find your feet.

What’s in it for you?

Successful candidates have a chance of being hired for a permanent role at the end of the learnership period.
